Dalkeith and Woodburn residents asked to help shape the future of their community

Wednesday September 23rd 2015

Do you live in Dalkeith or Woodburn? Over the next few months, people living in these areas of Midlothian will have the opportunity to say what they think about their community and to contribute to a shared vision for its future.

With the support of Midlothian Council, Coalfield Community Futures has launched a survey to give local people their say about where they stay and how it can be improved as a place to live, work or visit.

The results of the survey will be used to form a Community Action Plan that reflects community views and which can be used as a guide for local organisations in representing the community and in taking forward projects that matter most to local people.

A £40,000 fund has been made available by the Trust (£20,000 of which is a contribution from Midlothian Council) which local groups and organisations are being invited to apply to in order to deliver the action plan.

You can fill in the survey HERE.
