Eskmills Cafe Restaurant Dalkeith Staff

The sun was shining on Dalkeith’s new cafe-restaurant as it opened its doors for the first time today.

A warm welcome from the staff, a very pleasant atmosphere and a comprehensive whilst reasonably priced menu awaits visitors to Eskmills Cafe.

Eskmills is the latest in a series of very successful restaurants in Midlothian for leading Asian restaurateur Matin Khan who is planning to tempt Scots’ taste buds with their own home fare.

The cafe-restaurant, is a radical departure for someone whose establishments have won awards for the best South Asian restaurant in Scotland and the best lunch and dinner in Midlothian, and won glowing reviews from critics.

Eskmills will be open from 8 am to 5 pm seven days a week offering breakfasts, lunches, sandwiches, gourmet burgers, ice creams from Luca’s of Musselburgh, coffees, afternoon teas with home baking and a takeaway service. It will be fully licensed.
