Midstock Festival have announced the line up for this year’s outdoor spectacular that will take place on Saturday 12 September at Dalkeith Country Park, Midlothian. Headlining the event will be melodic indierockers, The Fratellis.
Organisers, Wullie Slight and Scott Gunn are thrilled to be producing this exciting event in their home town of Dalkeith.
“Midstock Festival is now in its second year. We were previously known as Grown in Scotland Festival and our aim is to make this year even better! We have a new brand, an amazing line up and the support of our local community. We can’t wait to get the show on the road now. We’re also excited about having Fish on the show. He’s also a Dalkeith boy and we can’t wait to welcome him home.”
Fish added “This year is promising to provide a host of memorable shows around the world as I take out ‘Misplaced Childhood’ for one last time on its 30th anniversary, on my’ Farewell to Childhood Tour’. Without doubt this will be a special occasion. There are more than a few memories from my youth encapsulated in the lyrics of that album and with this being the first time I’ve played it in it’s entirety, onstage in my home town of Dalkeith, it promises to be a magical and emotional performance and a memorable evening for the fans who are travelling from far and wide for this event.”
