If you want to see some magic before the Fringe ends then we know where to go.
Ben Hart gave an energetic, engaging and enthusiastic performance. “Nothing up my sleeves” he said as he rolled them up. The audience were mesmerised by his fast paced delivery as he moved around the venue, the Palais du Variété, speaking quick-wittedly, humorously and performing his magic continuously – breath taking literally.
Members of the audience were brought up on stage to witness his magic at first hand and to verify that there was no trickery at play or at least they could not see it.
It was a fast paced hour of a show, passing very quickly, which the large audience really enjoyed and to which there were many gasps of appreciation and wonderment.
A note about the venue, the Palais du Variété in the Assembly George Square Gardens is a very comfortable venue and which lends its almost circular format to an all round audience experience.
With the final week of the Fringe upon us, if you are short of time for many shows then I would strongly recommend this show.
