Dance4passion Midlothian dance class in Dalkeith
Written by Midlothian View Reporter, Liam Eunson
A well-known dance school that provides classes across Scotland is proving popular in Midlothian with their Tuesday class in Dalkeith drawing in large numbers.
Dance4passion is a dance school that provides lessons for both adults and children, beginner dancers and advanced, across Scotland. Their classes take place in many locations across central Scotland, including Dalkeith.
Showing very popular across Scotland, Dance4passion’s classes are drawing in a large number of attendees, drawing in around 120 attendees each term across Scotland with 25 people attending the Dalkeith classes each week.
Their Dalkeith class runs every Tuesday at 7pm for beginners and 8pm for improvers, taking place at St Nicholas Buccleuch Parish Church, Dalkeith.
Dance4passion offers classes for everyone, no matter their dance experience, focusing on sharing the passion of dance through classes tailored to all expertise.
Danve4passion’s director and dance teacher, Frederico Ribeiro, explained:
“We offer classes for everyone, all ages and all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or advanced dancer, and regardless of your age, we have a class for you. We also offer private one-to-one lessons for those looking to further improve their individual skills or get ready for a competition.
“Our dancing classes are not only a great way to stay active, but they’re also incredibly fun and enjoyable. Our experienced and friendly instructors create a positive and welcoming atmosphere where you can learn new skills, build confidence, and make new friends.
“Our goal is to make more people dance, because of its health benefits and social wellbeing.”
With the dance school having lots of interest from new dancers across Scotland and Midlothian, Frederico and his team believe that their dance school provides an important role in Scotland’s communities.
He explained: “Dancing is not just learning how to dance but it also allows people to socialise with others. We do find there is a big gap of male dancers coming to classes and also same sex couples. Somehow male dancers may think it is only for women.”
Frederico highlighted that he believes Dance4passion provides a crucial space for a community outlet but ‘somehow people may not know that it is’.
With their goal to spread the positivity of dance across the country, this message has seemed to resonate with Midlothian, with their Dalkeith class only growing in popularity.
