East Lothian singer Rob Kingsley brings his international hit touring concert show A Vision of Elvis to The Corn Exchange at The Brunton in Haddington on Saturday, March 14.
Starring Rob Kingsley – the production now has a brand-new look, also featuring rising star Evan King as a “young Elvis”. Scottish teen sensation Evan is ranked as one of the brightest young stars in the Elvis tribute world today, says Rob.
“Blending the raw fire of Elvis’s 1950s rock ’n’ roll with the smooth swagger of his 1960s prime,” says Rob, “Evan delivers a high-voltage performance packed with powerhouse vocals, hip-shaking moves, and unstoppable stage presence.”
Crowned Youth King of the Castle Champion, Harbour Lights Youth Champion, and European Elvis Youth Champion, Evan represents the next generation of Elvis tribute artists and is proudly keeping the King’s spirit alive.
Commenting on the Haddington shows, Rob says: “I always enjoy ‘returning home’ for performances.”
Winner of the National Tribute Music Awards’ Official Elvis Show and No1 Male Tribute, Rob has also been voted both Grand European Champion and Best Vegas Elvis at Europe’s largest Elvis competition.
Long-time Elvis friend, photographer and tour manager Ed Bonja, says of Rob: “He sings like Elvis, but most importantly, he seems to capture the very soul of Elvis – his charisma, his gestures – hell he even walks like Elvis!”
Rob says: “In this sensational new, live concert show you will experience an epic audio-visual journey through time like you’ve never seen before.”
Featuring, Shake, Rattle & Roll, Heartbreak Hotel, Suspicious Minds, and An American Trilogy, is described as “an electrifying live concert spectacular celebrating the music, magic, and legacy of Elvis Presley. It’s packed with timeless classics”.
“The costumes, instruments and stage setting are authentically recreated,” says Rob. “Surrounded by outstanding musicians, backing vocalists and production team the audience will be taken on an emotional roller coaster through time.”
