Edinburgh Science is on the road again, bringing its educational programme Generation Science to classrooms across Scotland, including Midlothian.

As part of the summer tour, over the coming week primary school pupils from Midlothian will get the chance to experience engaging, hands-on science learning delivered by a team of expert science communicators.

This year’s Generation Science tour features 10 interactive shows and workshops which are available for schools to book, including two brand new climate-focused activities Our Changing Climate and The Green Machine.

Famous for their annual Festival, which recently celebrated its 35th anniversary, Edinburgh Science charity runs year-round programme offering science events and workshops for children and young people at different stages of their educational journey. They bring live experiences directly to schools across Scotland which aim to inspire pupils of all ages to engage with science, technology, engineering and maths.

Running for over 30 years Generation Science is one of the UK’s premier science education outreach programmes and has reached over 1 million pupils.
