Edinburgh’s new e-bike hire scheme was introduced last Wednesday, introducing a new affordable and eco-friendly mode of transport to the capital in the form of Voi cycle hires.
With the Swedish e-bike operators filling Edinburgh’s streets with 50 modern electric hire bikes, they plan to expand to over 800 bikes darted about the city.
Reporter Liam Eunson went out to trial the e-bikes, analysing their affordability, performance and overall effect it will have on the capital.
