A lane closure with temporary traffic lights is in place on the A702 near Hillend, while Scottish Water carries out emergency works to repair a burst water main.
Restrictions are expected to remain in place until the end of Thursday 4 December.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and expect significant delays, particularly during peak times.
