Esk Valley Rotary club has announced their up-coming Charity Auction Fundraiser, being an exciting community event designed to raise funds for both local and national charities.
As part of the global network of Rotary International, Esk Valley Rotary is committed to creating positive change locally and beyond. The upcoming auction aims to bring together businesses, residents, and supporters for an evening of generosity, community spirit, and friendly bidding.
Funds raised from the auction will directly support a range of important causes, including:
– Local community groups and hardship support initiatives
– Youth development and leadership programmes
– Health and wellbeing projects
– Selected national charities aligned with Rotary’s humanitarian mission
The auction will feature a wide variety of items and experiences generously donated by local businesses and supporters, including restaurant vouchers, holiday, artwork, services, 4-ball vouchers and many other items.
President of Esk Valley Rotary, Iain Robertson, explained:
“We’re delighted to host this auction as a way for our community to come together and make a real difference. Every bid placed will help support people and projects that truly need it.”
The charity auction will take place on 24 April at 7pm at Newbattle Golf Club.
Esk Valley Rotary is also encouraging the wider community to attend and participate outside of the individuals and businesses who have already contributed auction items.
