Jason-Byrne-Fringe-2025-Assembly

Jason Byrne took to the stage for another night of great comedy in the Main Hall at the Assembly Hall.

The Irish comedian captivated the whole audience within seconds, making jokes with the audience and finding his first targets in the front row.

The show “head in the clouds” was named after Jason’s time at school when the teachers would complain he was not concentrating enough, but now the term head in the clouds has completely changed for Jason as he has audience members in stitches and smiles all around.

Jason’s ability to draw on his Irish background and make jokes about the Scottish English rivalry was perfect for his audience which mainly consisted of Scots.

However, even those who could not directly relate to his Scottish twist and Irish background were finding themselves up on stage taking part in his “magic acts” and final dance shows.

His ability to combine his stories of childhood and past performances, with talking to audience members, meant that the show flowed quickly and smoothly.

If you don’t have any plans for the following evenings of August, you know the place to be.

Jason Byrne is on until the 24th August at the Main Hall at the Assembly Hall.
