Midlothian Voluntary Action are holding a ‘Meet your Midlothian Councillor’ event for third sector organisations based in Midlothian such as community groups, voluntary organisations, charities and social enterprises on Tuesday 23 August from 6:30pm at the Dalkeith Arts Centre.
On the evening attenders will be able to book a slot with their local councillor to discuss priorities and local issues, and to raise awareness of their organisation.
Lesley Kelly. Chief Officer of Midlothian Voluntary Action said: “We are delighted that so many of our new councillors will be coming to the event. This is a fantastic opportunity for local third sector organisations to start meaningful working relationships with their local elected members.”
