A new campus is being developed which will replace Mayfield and St Luke’s primary schools. As well as education spaces for both primaries, the campus will have 120 Early Years places and 48 Additional Support Needs (ASN) places.

Local people and groups will also be able to use the campus’ indoor sports halls, meeting rooms, community spaces, outdoor pitches and recreational areas.

A drop-in has been organised at Mayfield Primary School on Thursday 27 April between 4.30pm and 8.30pm where you can find out more about the new community campus.

You’ll be able to give your views on the proposed design of the campus and facilities.

The consultation is part of what’s known as a Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) for the Mayfield Community Campus. The PAN has been submitted to the council’s planning service. It is not a planning application but a notice advising how the developer intends to engage with the community about the proposal. This allows the community to put their views directly to the developer before a planning application is submitted.

Details of a second PAN consultation drop-in event are still to be confirmed.
