Ian Algie, a hobbyist photographer based on the edge of Edinburgh, took this dramatic photograph of Midlothian.
Ian said of his photo:
“I was out playing with my drone. The original plan was to head to Musselburgh but the fog was rolling in. I had a fly around Edgelaw Reservoir and as the sun was going down, I packed up and started heading home. As I was driving back, I came across this scene and had to jump out the car and capture it.”
