It is the work experience season for S4 pupils in Midlothian. Students have been working in lots of different roles across the county gaining vital insights into the world of work. These valuable experiences help young people decide what they do and importantly what they don’t want to do later on in life.

Corey Millar from Penicuik High School and Lily Diamond and Heather Wright from Lasswade High School are the latest students who have chosen to produce and present on Black Diamond FM as part of their schools’ work Experience programme. They have had praise from many listeners for their presenting skills and have been welcomed back to Black Diamond in the future.
