Covid restrictions mean door to door campaigning and in person events are not possible for this years’ election, so Katherine Sangster from Scottish Labour is taking it online.

Scottish Labour’s campaign in Midlothian South, Tweeddale and Lauderdale have announced a series of digital surgeries every Thursday 6pm-7pm to allow local people to meet their candidate and ask questions in the run up to the Scottish Parliament elections.

Surgeries will take place via Zoom or if you prefer by telephone, email sangster4holyrood@gmail.com to register.

Commenting on the announcement Katherine Sangster Scottish Labour candidate for Midlothian South, Tweeddale and Lauderdale said:

“We know this election campaign is different but that doesn’t mean that people can’t meet the candidates and ask them questions before they vote. Although not as good as meeting in person I am looking forward to chatting to as many people as possible between now and election day on May 6th”
