Pathhead Players

Written by Pathhead Players

As local shops start to deck their shelves with Christmas stock, Pathhead Players have started their very own preparations for Christmas. Whilst most people on Wednesday evenings are settling in front of their favourite television soaps, the Players are starting off their evening with a quick vocal and physical warm up to ensure they are in tip top condition to tread the boards in front of their director, Jenny Boyd Ellison. The stage crew choose instead to exercise their paint-covered hands into the biscuit barrel.

Pathhead Players panto of choice for December 2019? Sinbad the Sailor! The usual faces grace the stage with some newcomers and of course, the younger members of the Players who are taking to the stage like ducks to water. The panto over the weeks, has come alive and characters are being developed before our very eyes. The scenery is painted and the stage crew are working hard to get the stage ready. The drilling, sawing and hammering can’t distract the Players who are as always, dedicated the task at hand.

Will Macho get any bananas? Who is the silent stranger? Will there be a happy ending for Parissa? Will Mephisto get his comeuppance? And what about the Cobra Jewel?

Come along to Pathhead Village Hall on Tuesday 3rd December to Friday 6th December to find out. Doors open at 19:00 for a 19:30 start. Tickets are priced at £6.50 for adults and £5 for concessions. Come along and support a fantastic local organisation and have a laugh to relax you before the Christmas madness.
