A ‘small but growing’ political party that puts upholding family values at its core is welcoming like-minded people to a branch meeting in Berwickshire this week.

Members of the Borders branch of the Scottish Family Party are to meet at Southfield Community Centre in Duns from 7pm to 8.30pm on Friday, January 30.

The national leader of the party, Richard Lucas, who founded it back in 2017, will be in attendance.

The Scottish Family Party is a socially conservative, anti-abortion, pro-marriage party that advocates for parental rights in the education system and opposes transgender self-identification and gender recognition reforms.

The party has fielded candidates in Scottish Parliament, local, and UK general elections.

The party leader in the Borders, Hamish Goldie-Scot, said: “The meeting is an opportunity for the small but growing band of Family Party members, supporters or potential supporters to get together, meet with SFP leader Richard Lucas, hear about plans for the May 7th Election, while contributing their ideas and raising any questions or concerns they may have.”

Plenty of parking spaces will be available at the venue on Friday. For more information contact borders@scottishfamily.org
