Reflecting on his adoption night, Calum Kerr said:

“Last night was a brilliant moment for our campaign. Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a special occasion. It was great to welcome and hear from John Swinney, Màiri McAllan – fresh from their Politician of the Year awards – and our incomparable Christine Grahame. Their support and their brilliant speeches added real energy to the room.”

“We’ve made a great start, and we’ll keep that momentum going as we work to win for Midlothian South, Tweeddale and Lauderdale — and to help the SNP win across Scotland. Thank you again for all the encouragement and belief.”

Calum also expressed his gratitude to the volunteers, performers, organisers and local members who made the evening a success.

The adoption night marks a launch to his campaign and his focus on delivering locally rooted representation, ambition and a positive future to the region.
