Written by Phil Bowen, Midlothian View editor

Lasswade Community Sport Hub was launched in 2015 and has gone from strength to strength, now involving over 15 sport clubs from the local area. To recognise the Hub’s success LCSH hosted their very own Hub Awards evening to celebrate sport within the community.

Despite it being the first time the awards ceremony had taken place it was a marvellous event, taking place at Lasswade High School with a large audience of over 100.

As well as the awards, sport clubs from the area gave presentations about their clubs to highlight what they do and KIC Dance entertained the audience with two great dance performances.

There were six categories of award.
