The three harbours of Port Seton, Cockenzie and Prestonpans luxuriate in a bountiful supply of the arts all year round and for 9 days in June they all come together to celebrate as the 3 Harbours Arts Festival. Now in it’s 11th year, the multi-disciplinary festival has a wide range of exhibitions exploring local heritage, community and creativity through traditional arts, music and inspirational workshops.

Events and exhibitions take place in a range of venues from people’s homes to outdoor spaces, from churches to pubs and permanent galleries, giving the festival a wonderfully welcoming feel from the local community. With a wide range of activities as well, this is a superb coastal festival with so much to see and do you will want to come back year on year.

This year the festival will be officially opened on 4th June at 10.30am by Richard Demarco, artist and internationally renowned campaigner for the Arts. The opening will take place at Chalmers church in Cockenzie with the festival officially starting at 11am.
