Santa visits the Rose’s Academy

Monday December 15th 2014

The players at Bonnyrigg Rose Football Academy had a very special guest. Santa interrupted his busy schedule to visit the Bonnyrigg Rose Social Club where the Bonnyrigg Rose 2007s and 2008s were holding their Christmas party. To a very loud and entertaining rendition of Jingles Bells a very happy Santa danced his way into the room. There was much excitement as all the boys got to meet Santa and have their photograph taken.

Earlier the players had been excellently entertained by Alexander the Great with dancing, games and a very enjoyable magic show.

The party was a celebration of Christmas and the end of the current season. The Academy and coaches thanked the boys for all their hard work over the course of the last 12 months. Academy Director, Dave Kelly, who was unable to attend as he was away with work sent a message to all parents and players congratulating them for their efforts and support of the Academy throughout the year, he wished them a very happy Christmas and said he was looking forward to seeing them in February when training for the new season starts.

All the photographs can be seen in the gallery section of the Bonnyrigg Rose Academy website.
