Broomieknowe Golf Club

Broomieknowe Golf Club was established in 1905 and is set in magnificent parkland where the fast-draining sub-soil helps to ensure that there are very few days when the course is not open. In addition to the course, which offers a challenge to golfers whatever their handicap, they have a friendly clubhouse with changing rooms, a well-stocked bar and excellent catering facilities. They are happy to welcome visitors whether as individuals or as larger parties and look forward to seeing you here.

Kings Acre is a unique golf course and academy, located in the Midlothian countryside just six miles from Edinburgh city centre. As well as a fantastic par 70 course, it is home to Scotland’s national fitting centre, it has an outstanding academy, superb facilities for corporate events and parties, a special mini-course for kids, and a beautifully modernised cottage where visitors can stay just yards from the first tee.

Glencorse is a friendly picturesque inland parkland course with many trees and the Glencorse Burn that affects 10 holes. Glencorse is a formidable test for the highest quality golfer, but still great fun for the more modest competitor. It is ideal for a day’s golf.

Each hole presents the players with different challenges and although most good golfers find it difficult to hold par, the layout makes it rewarding.

Melville Golf Centre, Course, Range and Shop is truly a golfing centre of excellence. Their facilities will help you enjoy and improve your game the whole year round, no matter the weather.

The floodlit, heated all weather driving range has automatic pop up Powertees and excellent shock-resistant strike proof mats. There is a large practice putting green, pitch and putt area and a practice bunker. PGA Professional tuition for individuals and groups available at all times of year in our covered bays.

The 9-hole golf course has been built to USGA standard and designed to offer enjoyment to beginners, whilst still offering a challenge to the most able golfers.

The course is Pay and Play so all are welcome. For those without equipment, we offer a full equipment hire service for those on a break. Group outings by prior agreement. All we ask is that you have a knowledge of playing golf and observe the usual golf etiquette.
