Bumper crowd expected for big cup tie

Bonnyrigg Rose vs Dumbarton kick-off 13:30

A bumper crowd of over 1,000 is expected at New Dundas Park as Superleague champions Bonnyrigg Rose entertain Dumbarton in the third round of William Hill Scottish Cup.

Robbie Horn’s in form Bonnyrigg Rose, who have only lost two games all season, will be hoping to cause a cup upset against the Scottish Championship side.

Admission prices for the fixture are £12 for adults and £6 for concessions and is pay at the gate, with three entry gates open on the day of the game from 12:15 p.m. Gates opposite the Calderwood & Social Club as normal, bottom gate near dressing rooms will also be open.

Dumbarton FC predict a travelling support of about 200 and Bonnyrigg Rose predict a home support of about 1,000.

All fans are encouraged to make their way to the game in good time and the gates will be open 75 minutes before kick off.

Midlothian View normally take a neutral stance in all things political and sporting, but on this occasion “C’mon the Rose!”
