How do you fancy a challenge in 2023 for a great cause?

The Karen Henderson Legacy Fund have announced that their main fundraising activity this year will be The Edinburgh Kiltwalk on Sunday 17th September and they would like to get as many lovely Midlothian View followers as possible to sign up to be part of Karen’s team.

Karen very sadly passed away far too young in 2021, just 48, and The Karen Henderson Legacy Fund was set up that year to carry on the great work she had started in helping raise awareness of secondary breast cancer through campaigning and fundraising. All funds raised this year through the Edinburgh Kiltwalk will go to help those affected by secondary breast cancer making their lives just that little bit better and happier.

The fund is looking to get as many people as possible signed up to be part of “Karen’s Team” for the Kiltwalk in September, with the aim of raising as much as they can to help continue with their good work and to have some fun along the way.

So, if you fancy a challenge this year and like a good walk why don’t you dust off those trainers and get signed up to be part of Karen’s Team. There are 3 different distances to choose from;

– The Wee Wander (5 miles)

– The Big Stroll (15 miles)

– The Mighty Stride (21 miles).

So a distance for everyone. Karen’s Legacy Fund would love to have you onboard. For more details and information on how to register click here: Karen Henderson Legacy Fund Edinburgh Kiltwalk – Make 2nds Count
