Melville Golf Centre has become the first in Scotland to install a new state-of-the-art camera system that can take your golf swing to the next level.
The popular Edinburgh Toptracer range is leading the way with its introduction of Nugget Golf, which allows players to watch, analyse and improve their golf at the touch of a button.
By simply taking a swing in the ‘smart bay’ and scanning a QR code, players can instantly view a video in which the plane of their club, body angles and ball trajectory are all traced and measured.
There is also an opportunity to request feedback from Melville’s resident golf professionals so that you can benefit fully from the technology and practise with purpose.
It is another exciting development for the facility near Lasswade, which already includes a nine-hole course, short-game area and Toptracer technology across its floodlit, all-weather range.
Alastair Macfarlane, owner of Melville Golf Centre, said: “We are thrilled to be the first in Scotland to introduce Nugget Golf, which allows golfers to practise with purpose “
James Charalambous, Co-founder of Nugget Golf explained that Melville Golf Centre’s embrace of Nugget Golf marks a significant stride in elevating the golfing experience for players in Scotland who are seeking to improve their game. Our technology is dedicated to helping golfers refine their skills and enjoy more purposeful practice.”
Alan Reid, PGA Coach, said: “A great opportunity for golfers struggling with their game to receive feedback here at Melville.”
